Examples of EDPQS use in this country

Colleagues in Croatia have used the EDPQS to revise the grant scheme under which prevention projects are funded by the Croatian government. In a pilot project, project proposals were reviewed using a pre-determined set of criteria to identify the highest quality projects. In addition, representatives from all funded projects attended training on best practice in prevention work. Each provider was also given personalised feedback regarding the strengths and weaknesses of their preventative work. The EDPQS provided the basis for this feedback. The EDPQS champions on this project were Dijana Jerković, Office for Combating Drug Abuse, and Valentina Kranželić, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences (for contact details, see below). More information about this project can be found in the “Example projects documents” in EDPQS Toolkit 4. The final report can also be accessed here (in Croatian only).
